FitMate AI – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FitMate AI mobile application (“the App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by local law) to use the App.

2. Account Registration

  • • Creating an account is required to use the App.
  • • You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account credentials secure.
  • • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of the App

FitMate AI provides body analysis and fitness-related insights based on user-provided information and photos.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: data mining, scraping, unauthorized access to systems, and distribution of harmful code.

You agree to:

  • • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • • Upload only photos of yourself or photos you have the right to use
  • • Not misuse, abuse, or attempt to disrupt the App or its services

4. Photo Uploads & Analysis

  • • Photos uploaded to the App are used solely for analysis purposes.
  • • Photos are processed using third-party AI services (such as OpenAI).
  • • Uploaded photos are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 30 days.

5. Data Storage & Third-Party Services

  • • The App relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers (such as Supabase and OpenAI).
  • • These services are used strictly to operate and improve the App.
  • • The App uses third-party APIs to provide exercise-related visual content, including animations and GIFs. Such content is provided for informational and instructional purposes only. We do not claim ownership of third-party content. The availability, accuracy, and licensing of such content are governed by the respective third-party providers. We are not responsible for changes, limitations, or removal of third-party content.
  • • Users may not extract, redistribute, or reuse third-party content outside the App.

6. Subscription, Credits & Payments (if applicable)

If the App offers paid features, subscriptions, or credits:

  • • Prices and billing terms are displayed in the App
  • • Payments are handled through official app store payment systems
  • • All purchases are subject to the policies of the relevant app store

7. No Medical Advice

FitMate AI does not provide medical advice.

All analysis and insights are for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered medical, diagnostic, or professional advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by FitMate AI or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitMate AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App or on our website with a revised date.
